Brisbane

We’ve been married since 2023 and not long after tying the knot, we made a big move to London, a city we had never been to before. We both grew up in Brisbane, Australia, with Filipino and Vietnamese heritage. We met at a bible study group at our local church back in 2015, where we instantly connected and later began our journey together. We share a love for bringing people together, whether it's hosting games night, cooking up a feast, or creating spaces where everyone feels like family.

Over the years, we’ve served in church together, where our faith in God was strengthened, lifelong friendships were built and a deep passion for serving in ministry grew. Being part of leadership has taught us the profound beauty of walking alongside people as they grow in their faith and discover who God has called them to be.

In April 2024, we joined Vive London and made it our home. We saw a fresh glimpse of what God is doing across the globe, and being part of a church with a vision to plant 100 churches in 10 years was both humbling and exhilarating. God ignited our hearts and breathed new vision into our lives, calling us to plant a church back home in Brisbane that would spark a movement of His presence and love across the city.

The heart behind Vive Brisbane is to be a place where people encounter the presence of God, find belonging and are encouraged to live fully for Him. We see this church as a pillar in the city, where people are discipled, equipped, and empowered to make an eternal impact. Our prayer is that the transformational work that God will do through Vive Brisbane, will echo throughout the generations to come.
